Agriculture
today is different from any other time in history. Women today don't
live in the same culture that their mothers and grandmothers thrived
in. Today, women involved in agriculture are a new kind of agricultural
pioneer, going where no farm woman has gone before.
This
conference will target women who are involved in agriculture, whether
it be managing their own farming operation, as business partners,
impacted by the farm economy, or just wanting to learn more about
this industry of agriculture.
This
conference is dedicated to:

By participating in
this program, women will feel empowered to be in control of their
lives and their operations. Women will also become aware through
networking of issues and challenges faced by agriculture today.
As women become comfortable discussing issues, challenges and
impacts of agriculture, they will begin to form “peer groups”,
a form of support for themselves.
